My SeniorCare Edvantage certificate consists of nine Health and Aging Services Administration (HASA) courses and two Business Essentials (BSAD) courses for students who have not completed college-level courses in accounting or management.
Course content is based on the NAB Domains of Practice established for the Nursing Home Administrator and Residential Care/Assisted Living Administrator licensure: resident care, human resources, finance, physical environment, and management.

ESSENTIALS OF BUSINESS [BSAD]
Essentials courses are prerequisite courses for the HASA finance and leadership courses. You may petition to waive these prerequisites if you have taken similar college-level coursework. Contact the My SeniorCare Edvantage coordinator for more information.
Essential courses are 7-weeks long and are equal to 3.0 continuing education units (90 continuing education hours) or 2 college credits.
